Short description
Necessity drives an Indian farmer to thoughts of suicide, since the state will pay his family a premium. Anticipating high ratings, the media swarms in as soon as it hears of his plan: what sells better than a suicide on live TV? The politicians soon follow in hopes of gaining votes in exchange for aid and reform programs.
