The Mechanic
Action movie starring Jason Statham as a professional killer who takes his dead boss’ son under his wing.
In his magnificent house in the isolated Louisiana bayou, where he listens to vinyl recordings of Schubert's Trio for Violin, Violoncello and Piano No. 2 in E-flat major Opus 100, Arthur Bishop is a professional killer, capable of eliminating whoever he wants all over the world – such as a Columbian drug lord who lives protected by an army of bodyguards in a luxurious palace – always making it look like an accident. Racked with guilt for killing his friend and mentor on the orders of an organization that didn't give him a choice, Arthur takes the man's hot-headed, no-good son under his wing to teach him the profession...
Slick action film in which Jason Statham once again proves his undeniable charisma as the laconic, tough hero. Note to fans of the English actor: this remake of the 1972 movie starring Charles Bronson is certainly one of Statham's best, in the company of the excellent Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and The Bank Job.

Not the best movie from Jason, and also not very original. But it's still a good "popcorn-action-weekend-movie".
