Short description
When her mother (Laura Dern) drags her to a self-help group for children with cancer, the depressed Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shaileen Woodley) meets 18-year-old Augustus «Gus» Waters (Ansel Elgort), who lost a leg to cancer but survived his childhood. Gus' optimism, strength and unorthodox worldly wisdom fascinate Hazel, allowing her to find a new love for life even as she suffers from end-stage lung cancer.
