Short description
When his mother disappears after battling her family of magicians, who also killed his samurai father, Kubo is raised in a remote village by the sea. To protect him and prevent her evil father and cruel sisters from finding them, his mother teaches him to flee the moon and hide every night. But when his aunts track her down, Kubo is left alone, lost in the isolated territories of the kingdom.
