Antichrist: the video game

The distressing horror flick by Lars von Trier is slated to be made into avideo game by the maker of the popular game «Hitman», Morten Iversen.

The Danish filmmaker still has to approve the final product. The title of the game, «Eden», refers to the name of the cabin where Charlotte Gainsbourg inflicts all kinds of abuse on her husband, Willem Dafoe, before mutilating herself. Dafoe will lend his voice to the project.

Initially, «Eden» is scheduled for release in a year for PC as a first person adventure/horror game in which players confront their own fears.

Reportedly made to help him through a severe depression, «Antichrist» shows that Von Trier hasn't lost his grip on the real world: after shooting a movie designed to provoke discussion with its purposeful obscenities, the Scandinavian cineaste expands his reputation by turning it into a video game. Good news: Lars Von Trier is doing fine!
