Unknown filmmaker Mark Price is about to become known: with a ridiculous budget of only Fr. 75.--, his horror flick «Colin» is scheduled for release in the UK.

Barely 30 years old, the first-time moviemaker says most of the money went towards coffee and tea on the set.

Not only was the movie made with practically no money, its story is told from the point of view of a zombie.

Price edited his film at his London workplace, using old software like «Adobe Premier 6». For blood, he got food coloring from a friend and mixed it with hot water. The actors didn't need to be paid, given they are all friends of the director, and promotion was all done via social networks like MySpace and Facebook.

The penniless Price had to dig a little deeper to buy himself some decent pants and a shirt to go to the Cannes Film Festival, where he sold his movie to a UK distributor.

Well-received by horror fans, «Colin» is getting lots of buzz on the Internet and is scheduled to be shown at the prestigious Sitges fantasy film festival in October.
