Always one step behind in the battle against the blogosphere, the majors are forbidding stars to divulge any information about ongoing projects on their blogs or on social networks such as Twitter or Facebook.

Twitter forbidden in Hollywood

This is the latest attempt by movie studios to slow down the flow of information on the Web and keep some semblance of control over their productions in the media, by making actors they hire accept a corresponding «no-blogging» clause in their contracts.

Among the big names who have so far agreed to these conditions are Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz. The two will again lend their voices to the characters «Shrek» and Princess Fiona in the fourth animated adventures of the cuddly green ogre.
