Somewhere in South America lives the young king, Kuzco, who possesses everything that a young emperor could ever wish for. His life is turned upside down, however, after dismissing his advisor Yzma: Yzma transforms the conceited emperor into a lama. The lama stumbles upon a farmer called Pacha, and they both run the gauntlet of the jungle in order to return to the palace.
