Disaster strikes in the Himalayas when almost all the members of a group of mountaineers lose their lives. Billionaire Elliot Vaughn (*Bill Paxton*) and Annie Garrett (*Robin Tunney*) are the only survivors but they are caught in a crevasse. Driven by the wish to save his sister's live, brother Peter (*Chris O'Donnell*) sets off on a risky rescue operation. Whatever is promising at the beginning of the cheap action thriller soon disappears into thin air. But if you don't mind a series of clichés and suspend any expectations you might have of a serious mountaineering drama, the film is enjoyable enough.
