The blood brotherhood between the Indian chief Abahachi and his paleface partner Ranger is in a quandary: Ranger is tired of riding aimlessly throughout the prairie only to constantly end up tied to a stake due to the antics of his Indian friend. This time, the two blood brothers are held by Shoshoni tribesmen from whom Abahachi has borrowed money to open up a saloon. Unfortunately, he also enlists the aid of the shady Santa Maria, who delivers a facade instead of a building in exchange for the money, and shoots the chief's son in the posterior. With only one way out, Ranger and Abahachi search for a cut up treasure map to buy back their freedom from the Shoshoni.
