To seek revenge from his super rich and tyrannical employer - an inveterate collector of master paintings -– to whom he offers advice on purchasing Impressionists, the very British Harry (*Colin Firth*) devises a scam he believes to be neatly packaged. As part of his plan he hires an American rodeo artist (*Cameron Diaz*), for whom he invents the family background that includes ownership of "Meules de foins au crépuscule" by Monet, a painter missing from the billionaire's huge private collection. But for this very prim Englishman, the wild Texan woman is difficult to manage, especially since his own good manners don't really fit into the shady world of scams and forgeries...
