Eva (*Julia Louis-Dreyfus*) is a masseuse, she’s divorced and the single mother of a daughter on her way to college. One evening, she meets Albert (*James Gandolfini*) and they begin a wonderfully romantic relationship. At the same time, Eva becomes friends with Marianne (*Catherine Keener*), one of her new clients. When Eva finds out Marianne is Albert’s ex-wife, she begins to look at Albert more critically, even though everything was going so well.
