The first date between Lauren (*Drew Barrymore*) and Jim (*Adam Sandler*) goes horribly wrong. She’s freshly divorced, he hasn’t gotten over the death of his wife. But as fate will have it, they both end up on the same tour to Africa, where Lauren’s sons give Jim a hard time, and Jim’s daughters stand by their dad. The two families spend a week together, fighting and bickering, as Jim and Lauren start to fall for one another.
