"Dachkantine" is the story about the bizarre, four-week closing festival of Zurich's legendary and sorely-missed electro-club of the same name. The end of this club's era coincided with a significant change in the techno age, which was weakened world-wide and under financial pressure. The film showsthe best moments of a long and melancholy goodbye ("like taking one last swim at the end of the summer"), as the owners, electro artists and a slew of giddy and druggy guests enjoy one last moment in an inspired world, set to a soundtrack by DJs like Ricardo Villalobos and artists such as Takuya Nakamura and Roli Mosimann.
