Tedo is 12 as he flees with his young and attractive mother from Abkhazia to Georgia, leaving his father behind in the hospital. They find accommodations near Tiblisi, but it's not a home and Tedo misses his father. He decides to go on a difficult journey back to Abkhazia in search of him.

Georgian director George Ovashvili presents a realistic, hard and uncomplicated story about a refugee – a lament of this unnecessary war and the sorrow it produced.
