Yusuf, a shy six-year-old boy, lives with his parents in an isolated village in the heart of Anatolia. At primary school, he has a hard time with social conventions and suffers from inhibition. But when he accompanies his beekeeper father Yakup as he places beehives in trees, the magical aura of the surrounding nature envelops him and stimulates his imagination.
