30 years after handily winning the regional basketball tournament, five childhood friends meet again at the funeral of their old basketball coach, a man loved by all who taught them how life works. The five use the occasion to catch up and introduce their families over the weekend.

Like his character, Adam Sandler seems to have just wanted to see his old friends again: Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Kevin James and Sandler all came up together as stand-up comedians and are now heavy box office hitters. The result is a chatty comedy with humor well below the belt and dialogue that is full of nothing but wisecracks and sketch set-ups. The problem is that it was obviously more fun on the set than it is onscreen...
