A prostitute and a psychoanalyst search for meaning together.

Alice is an experienced prostitute with satisfied clients, but she wants to get out of the business. After a bad trick, she is determined to change her life, although she doesn't know how. Xavier is a cynical psychoanalyst who does his job without conviction and who can hardly stand his clients. When his wife leaves him, a friend recommends Alice's services. As their paths cross, these two lost souls help each other to see their futures differently.

With its collection of clichés and cheap attempt to make a parallel between prostitution and psychoanalysis, this movie isn't even able to take advantage of the performance by Isabelle Huppert, who, despite her talents, could never pass for a prostitute.
