Hoping to work in a factory during the day, he makes do with a job as a night watchman, where the hours let him see his wife and daughter only for a few minutes each day. During the day, when he's not asleep, he crosses the long concrete avenues of Teheran to go hunting in the neighboring forest. But when his family disappears after riots stemming from protests against the Iranian government, Ali's frustration and hate threatens to explode...
