Nathan is plagued by strange dreams about his childhood when he sees a photo of himself as a child on a website for missing children. Who is he really, and who are his presumed parents, who have raised him strictly but lovingly all these years? Before he can answer these questions, a hit team takes them both out and Nathan (Taylor Lautner) finds himself on the run with a neighbor. Hot on their heels are the hit team and some FBI agents with no clear motive.

With the uninspired and average 2 Fast 2 Furious and Four Brothers, John Singleton never reached the socio-cultural or directorial momentum of his Oscar-nominated debut, Boyz N the Hood. Abduction is no exception: this boring and simplified action flick in direct-to-DVD style is mainly a vehicle for teen star Taylor Lautner. Even an illustrious supporting cast can't save this 2nd rate production.
