You can't cheat death, not even the fifth time around.

Sam (Nicholas D'Agosto) has just been dumped by his girlfriend Molly (Emma Bell), but it's not the end of their relationship: they're on their way to a convention with co-workers. When their bus is blocked on a bridge by construction work, Sam has a vision of the bridge collapsing so he drags his friends to safety before anything bad happens. The race against death begins...

In contrast to the unsuccessful fourth in the series, this installment in the teen slasher franchise picks things up and is almost classic. Luckily! The death scenes are again elaborate and thrilling with a good portion of black humor, without resorting to the completely ridiculous. The 3D effects are well done and will be much appreciated by audiences.

The initial credits of the movie is already worth the ticket just for the awesome 3D effect.
