Johnny English Reborn
From the isolated Kung Fu monastery to the UK's capital: Rowan Atkinson is back as a clumsy secret agent.
Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) is the UK's top spy, despite his dorky and chaotic manner. After years of retirement, he returns to prevent the assassination of the Chinese prime minister. But he has no idea that it's all part of a plot involving agents from the CIA, the KGB and MI7, who were also responsible for English's fall from grace years before. Now he has to do all he can to rehabilitate himself. An adventure that takes Johnny from Hong Kong to Macao and the French Alps – but the big surprise is waiting for him at home.
Johnny English's second adventure rests on childish humor and is only a watered-down version of the original. What once began as a clever Bond parody is now stuck in a mire of cheap slapstick gags. This superficial film may be OK for the kids, but it's not recommended for old Atkinson fans.
