Solid thriller with a funky hip-hop soundtrack that seems to come straight from the 70's, starring Matthew McConaughey in one of his best roles. The extremely crafty and therefore well-conceived script is by Michael Connelly, one of America's best thriller writers of today, whose novel Blood Work was adapted into a movie in 2002 by Clint Eastwood.
