Bélisaire and Prudence Beresford investigate the disappearance of a Russian billionaire in Switzerland.
Bélisaire Beresford (André Dussolier) has profited from the success of his book about his heroic career, but his wife Prudence (Catherine Frot), who has always helped him in his investigations, is tired of only being the wife of the famous writer. She wants adventure, intrigue and risk. So she takes over the management of a private detective agency in Switzerland. Her first case is the mysterious disappearance of a Russian billionaire. Accompanied by Bélisaire, whose anonymity is now hard to keep, Prudence goes after a genius who invented a youth potion that was given to the missing woman while she was in a beauty clinic...
Pascal Thomas' recipe for the adaptation of Agatha Christie's mysteries still works in this third installment, after Mon petit doigt m'a dit and Le crime est notre affaire, mainly due to the charm of the duo Frot/Dussolier. Although the tone remains fresh and the situations comical, there is something missing, probably because of the somewhat boring storyline – the heroine's initial boredom is hard to shake.
