On a mountain farm in Graubünden, 13-year-old Clara has visions of a girl her age who tells her of events that happened 200 years ago: of a bear, her cubs and a pregnant woman. A legend about a witch who consorted with bears is suppressed; Clara's visions and experiences aren't taken seriously. Until a group of bears appear in the mountains.
