Dépression & des potes
Comedy in which a despondent man drags his buddies down with him.
On vacation, Franck (Fred Testot) can't seem to get out of a funk. Never mind the blue sky, the turquoise ocean, his bikini-clad entourage and the postcard setting: he just can't enjoy himself. His incessant whining leads him to see a doctor who tells him he's suffering from depression. Luckily, Franck can count on his four buddies, except that his mood soon rubs off on the others. Time to take stock, which often leads to solutions arising from nights on the town and a few glasses too many.
Arnaud Lemort takes on the bromance phenomenon, sprinkling it with a few crusty scenes, regularly spicing it to the audience's taste. Studying their own navels a little too often, the group of forty-somethings want nothing more than everyone else: to succeed in their careers, achieve their dreams and find the right person to have babies with. Which makes this movie very accessible to anyone who's ever told their tales of woe to a friend.
