Short description
After booze and coke-fuelled night spent in bed with a crewmember, Captain Whip Whitaker takes the helm of a national flight with a raging hangover. Shortly after takeoff in bad weather with a serious technical problem that presages disaster, the pilot manages to take control of his plane and lands it in a field, saving all but six of his passengers. Although now a national hero, Whitaker becomes the object of an investigation that reveals his dependency on alcohol and drugs...
