The Vow
A man is forced to win back his wife after a serious accident gives her amnesia.
Paige (Rachel Mc Adams) and Leo (Channing Tatum), are a young and happily married couple, until a car accident puts Paige into a coma. When she wakes up, she can't remember the last five years and doesn't recognize Leo. She remembers her parents but doesn't remember being severely estranged from them, so she goes home with them and Leo is forced to try and win her back. Will he succeed?
Neither stupid, nor vulgar, nor too cutesy, Michael Sucsy's (Grey Gardens) romcom avoids the usual pitfalls of such movie made in America. The subtext reminds the audience that in a relationship you constantly have to find new methods of seduction, and even if the reality of a situation isn't always what you want, sometimes you have to have the courage to overcome what you'd like to ignore. A rather nice happy end.

Quite a nice romantic film and what touched me even more was that this movie is based on real events. It is really worth watching this movie even if you are not a fan of this genre.
