Like all summer fairies, Tinker Bell is not allowed to enter the winter woods, because her wings could be damaged in the cold and the balance between the two worlds could be destroyed. But the inquisitive fairy thinks rules are made to be broken – the temptation to see what could happen is too great. And so begins an adventure into the secret of her wings – which brings some unexpected surprises.

With four previous installments up to now released only on DVD, the adventures of the cheeky fairy have finally made it to theaters. This perfect Disney dream world works mainly thanks to 3D effects, which make many a kitschy, three-hanky moment bearable. The story leaves behind a charmingly sweet aftertaste.
