The sequel to "Clash of the Titans": Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson once again do strange things to Greek mythology.

In Wrath of the Titans, Kronos, father of the gods and leader of the Titans, is waging war from his prison in Tartarus. So it's up to the demigod Perseus (Sam Worthington) to make sure the world doesn't end by going down to the underworld and saving his father Zeus (Liam Neeson), who has been captured there by the Titans. Perseus gets support from Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), another demigod in the shape of Poseidon's son Agenor (Toby Kebbell), and the smith of the gods, Hephaestus (Bill Nighy)...

As in Clash of the Titans, the sequel dips into Greek mythology to populate another fantasy spectacle. Despite a lack of character development, this movie works thanks to lots of action and a refreshing portion of humor.
