To land a promotion, a 38-year-old mother takes advantage of a rumor that she's dating a student.

Alice (Virginie Effira) has her eye on the position of editor-in-chief at the women's magazine where she works, but the arrival of a younger and more lively colleague may prevent her from succeeding. As a 40-something divorced mother who's a little uptight, she doesn't really fit the mold of a fresh mag called Rebelle. But her stuffy image gets a boost in the eyes of her superiors: Alice suddenly gains street cred when a rumor claims she's having a passionate affair with Balthazar, a student half her age. Adjusting her wardrobe and attitude to match her new reputation, Alice regains the attention of her co-workers as the editors brainstorm. Until Balthazar discovers the real intentions of this fake cougar...

A nicely packaged MILF comedy, that makes no concessions to the codes of genre and plays with all of today's communications devices: or how a tweet with less than 120 characters is enough to ruin or rehabilitate a reputation. The movie's fresh tone may have some looking forward to leaving primary school early for the secondary level.
