A judge discovers that the father of the baby she's carrying is suspected of horrible murders.

Ariane Felder, a single judge, works every evening except the one where she got completely drunk, slept with a stranger and got pregnant. The DNA test reveals the father to be a man with a record for robbery, who is awaiting trail for dismembering a victim and eating his eyeballs. To make sure the DNA test is correct, Ariane tracks down a video of the evening in question and finds out the father is indeed this suspect. But she begins to doubt he actually committed the crime of which he is accused...

Albert Dupontel's comedy crosses the line of propriety with a certain grace as it casts a sharp eye on the French justicial system. With black humor aimed at the bar, he lovingly cuts deep down into his subject with a simple and punk spirit, opening the doors of bad taste with frank delight. Without hang-ups or false morality, the judgment is clear: this movie is hilarious from beginning to end.
