Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay to this classically structured action flick. Homefront works as both 80’s action movie and 50’s western – the idea of the outnumbered lone gunman trying to protect his family is not new. A B movie dressed as A with a stellar cast offering simple entertainment.
