A young widow gets a weekend from her friends, during which a hunk tries to pick her up.

Alice gets a double-edged present for her 40th birthday. Her husband died a few years ago and her friends are worried she can't open up her heart to the men they keep setting her up with. So they give the widow a weekend suite in a hotel in Deauville, Normandy, during the Biennale of Contemporary Art, one of her passions. And there's a hidden surprise: they also get a hot man to seduce her and give her holiday a little extra something. There's a small obstacle: because she's quite attractive herself, the man has a lot of competition. But when Alice finds out what her friends are up to, there's a series of misunderstandings to get through before there will be any chance of a spark...

Although the tagline promises a great romance, this movie is more like a series of advertisements: for the city, for the biennale, mobile phones and several pairs of hot stilettos, then sprinkled with a tiny bit of romantic comedy just to make sure it can be called a film... all that's missing is the address of the tourism office. Totally unnecessary.
