Every year, the collapsing economy send thousands off in search of their Eldorado. There are dangers everywhere; many never arrive. For his film debut, Diego Quemada-Diez, himself an immigrant – although illegal – selected two boys and a girl from Guatemala who aim to travel through Mexico and cross the US border.

Authentic actors, a realistic story and the tension between competition and cooperation make this a suspenseful movie to the very end.
