When she falls for Michaël, a Russian scientist, it turns out he works for them and has just invented a new grain that promises energy for the entire world. The latest gem from Folimage studios, Tante Hilda is an animated movie for everyone. Director Jacques-Rémy Girerd and his team have applied the old art of drawing and painting everything by hand, which lends the whole project a certain authenticity, cachet and individuality; it is subtle and poetic. Optimistic audiences will happily discover in it an ecological, inspired fable stuffed with humor, while skeptics will see a prophetic fairy tale with no good news for the future of humanity.
