Four old friends (Edouard Baer, Alain Chabat, Philippe Duquesne, Lucien Jean- Baptiste), tired of losing at the track, think they've hit the jackpot when Monsieur Paul (Gérard Depardieu), an old racing regular under surveillance by the gambling authorities, offers them the option of becoming the happy owners of Torpille. The product of a prestigious stud farm, the nag with a tongue that droops out of its mouth is under the charge of father and daughter Delgaldo (Sergi Lopez, Vahina Giocante), who manage a pony club. Brought into shape by the former jockey and ridden by his daughter, a gorgeous but sullen young woman who doesn't take crap from anyone, the horse still loses constantly. And that's its secret. Once our heroes figure it out, they'll have hit the jackpot! And business is so brisk it risks tarnishing the world of horseracing. Will they be able to resist temptation? The bets are on...

Fabien Onteniente, a proven maker of cheesy movies like Camping 1 and 2, brings together a star-studded cast for this small-time social comedy. A bet sure to win big at the box office but one that won't be getting any of its studs across the finish line with a prize. Sure to produce nothing but weak whinnies at the local betting shop, as the jokes fall flatter than an overweight jockey. Losing tickets stubs will litter the floor in increasing numbers as post time approaches, tossed there by viewers tempted to jump their seats to escape the choking bit of this also ran.
