Babysitting
The morning after babysitting his boss’s son, a young man discovers the house has been trashed.
Stuck behind the reception desk at the publishing house he dreams of creating for, Franck, a graphic novel artist, thinks he’s found his way in when his boss agrees to look at his work in exchange for a favor: babysitting his temperamental son for the night. Franck jumps at the chance, even though it’s his 30th birthday and a party has been planned. The next morning, when his boss comes back, the house is trashed and everyone has disappeared. They find a video of the night before, filmed by a friend of Franck’s...
Nicolas Benamou and Philippe Lacheau, co-director and star, hold their own against all comparisons with Project X, but it’s impossible not to have it in mind while watching Babysitting. There’s a house, a pool, hundreds of party animals, unlikely and politically incorrect situations on found footage. Not a very original idea or script, but still an extremely likable and perfectly entertaining comedy.
