San Fransokyo. Hiro Hamada is an orphan wasting his above-average intelligence at illegal robot fights. Concerned, his older brother takes him to his university tech lab, where he hopes Hiro will be inspired enough to take part and be recruited by the dean of students. But Hiro has a completely different experience, which causes him to seek revenge with the help of a new friend: Baymax, an inflatable robot created by his brother to care for humans …

Disney’s merger with Marvel in 2009 – at the same terms as their previous acquisition of Pixar – takes on a whole new meaning with Big Hero 6. The studio’s first adaptation of a comic book, this movie by Don Hall and Chris Williams marks a new stage in the dominance of the superhero genre, now enhanced with Mickey Mouse ears to replace the princess and prince stories for the kiddies. The Japanese-inspired cousins of the Avengers, wrapped in irresistible self-mockery, therefore set off on a spectacular adventure with an obvious conclusion – at least for those no longer blessed with the naïveté of children. Nonetheless entertaining and visually elegant, this movie proves that the reign of these new gods, no matter how horrifying, has only just begun.

Great movie, just by the trailers you can tell it's going be good. Lots of laughs but why wouldn't there be with a big inflatable robot.
