With the war between Vikings and dragons over, the village of Berk has completely changed. Bigger, nuttier, more fun: the new adventure by DreamWorks Animation spectacularly fulfills its mission, thanks to an ambitious screenplay that offers many magnificent scenes, such as the appearance of alpha dragons and the cavern. But this aspect also has its faults: by trying to conform to the laws of a Hollywood blockbuster, How to Train Your Dragon 2 soon devolves into a bad family drama, as silly as it is moralizing, erasing any poetic spark or humor from the exasperating dialogue.
