Almost 20 years after Twister, Into the Storm has no ambition other than to re-enact the B-blockbuster of 1996 with the help of modern special effects and unavoidable 3D technology. It only takes a few minutes to realize this is a really badly made movie, centered on nothing but ridiculous and awful dialogue. On top of it all, the tornado scenes have no energy thanks to the heavy-handed style of the director of Final Destination 5, who for some reason uses found footage in the tradition of Cloverfield.
