An idyllic island in Croatia, in the blue waters of the Adriatic. Sweet and circumspect, Liliane is on vacation with the extravagant Grebo, the father of the child she is expecting. But things become tempestuous when she is reunited with Flora on the beach. Years before in another life, Flora and Liliane were a couple who loved each other passionately. Their reunion rekindles old feelings, even as Grebo also falls for the charms of the beautiful Flora…

Usually known for dramas, Jasmila Žbanić, the Bosnian director of On the Path and For Those Who Can Tell No Tale, attempts a comedy this time around. The result is a tacky postcard, an ordinary bit of summer slapstick. The pseudo modernity of the love triangle between two women and a man is nothing more than an old-fashioned farce that is neither funny nor moving, despite a few vain attempts at situation comedy. It is therefore sad to see Ariane Labed, the wonderful revelation from Fidelio, Alice’s Journey, lost in another in a maritime adventure that puts her alongside the awful Franco Nero and Ada Condeescu, in a story that is more embarrassing than good.
