There, all social and cultural divisions are dropped in favor of a combined front against the judicial machine. Coline Serreau sat in on remedial safe driving classes over the course of two years, where participants were condemned to taking them if they wanted their licenses back. They see themselves as victims of the system, from hospitals to courts, as they offer both confessions and rants. The director of Solutions locales pour un désordre global doesn't waste time on embellishment for this very raw film about men and women who are too ordinary as they hide themselves behind astonishingly bad beliefs. Also along for the ride are sociologists, lawyers and scientists. The laudable approach unfortunately struggles to go beyond the obvious.
