It is hard to tell why Isabelle Carré decided to be a part of this unbearably predictable romantic comedy, which has nothing to offer her but a pathetic role as an overexcited woman who falls into the arms of Patrick Bruel. The only explanation for her sad presence in this dull and annoying film that ads tiresome dialogues to outdated clichés and a seriously stupid plot is the director Anne Giafferi, with whom Carré made the TV-film La Vie à l'envers l’année last year. There is nothing that could save this hysterical and ridiculous farce, which even lacks the decency to offer the kind of naïve energy that usually comes with the most basic romantic comedies. The only recommendation possible: skip this one and wait a few weeks for the funny and strange 21 nuits avec Pattie, in which Isabelle Carré is much better and more charming.
