32, single and without a stable job, Adrienne begins to put her choices into perspective. After having left Lausanne for Berlin, without having had children or a husband, she questions her childhood friends about their lives, their regrets, their doubts and all the things that make up the modern woman. Armed with a camera, she tries to understand them: Aline, her sister Lydia, Stéphanie, Isabelle, as well as herself.

Having arrived at a moment in her life where social pressure is getting more uncomfortable, and beginning to seriously compare her choices to the ones made by those around her, director Adrienne Bovet stumbles on a universal human reaction that touches everyone personally. She offers portraits of strong, contemporary women. Her film is stylishly edited, although sometimes a little too arty and unfortunately cutting off her protagonists in mid sentence, slowing down its emotion. This is luckily balanced out by a kind of abstract and musical elegance, proving that Adrienne Bovet has real talent.
