The life of Molly Monster is about to completely change now that she is no longer the focus of her family. Everything now revolves around the egg her mother laid and that her father is guarding. In the land of monsters, it is customary for parents to go to Egg Island, and while her parents are preparing to leave, Molly learns that she will not be going along, that she is to stay at home under the care of her two uncles Alfredo and Santiago. But when she realizes that they have forgotten to bring the little cap she knitted for the baby, Molly decides to leave for the island with her friend Edison...

Based on the TV series Molly Monster, about the adventures of a not very frightening little yellow monster, who lives in Monsterland with her parents. Stretched to movie length, the character retains its original simplicity, which in this case disappointing because it shows a lack of imagination. Accompanied by her friend Edison and saddled with a curious voice that makes her sound like a granny, Molly travels through a colorful world inhabited by a fluorescent bestiary that will attract the eye and hold the attention of the little ones. They will unfortunately have to be content with very little, since Molly Monster, with just 1:10 on the clock, offers only a simplistic, and not very memorable adventure.
