In SHOK, the friendship of two boys is tested to its limits as they battle for survival during the Kosovo war. Based on true events, this award-winning film is the story of the trials and tribulations of children faced with the most extraordinary of circumstances. Filmed in Kosovo where the atrocities depicted in the film took place, SHOK is a film that will hopefully make us think of our own childhood and how, across the world, people's lives can be so different from ours, yet in many ways so similar.
