Together for two years with Gilles, Josephine is happy. Although she is unemployed and her sister, depressed since canceling her wedding, lives with them. But Josephine has no idea of what to expect when one night, she wakes with a start: she is pregnant. The news upsets her life and her plans, and will affect those around her during nine hectic months...

What does one expect from this sequel to Josephine, the offbeat romantic comedy starring by Marilou Berry? Laughter, jokes, a few emotional scenes, and enough actors to add the necessary energy to the exercise. Mission accomplished for Joséphine s'arrondit. Less anecdotal than the first film, which had nothing to say, this dispensable but endearing sequel offers fans of the genre an entertaining 90 minutes, with good laughs and absurd gags. Already established and so perfect in the title role of the original, this time around Berry also directed and helped write the screenplay. The result is generic and has no real style, but it offers good editing effects and energy, and benefits from excellent supporting roles (Mehdi Nebbou, Cyril Guei, Sarah Suco), which makes Joséphine s'arrondit a perfectly calibrated and enjoyable product.
