Storks
A long time ago, storks used to deliver babies. Today they deliver packages for a conglomerate. The star delivery stork of the company, Junior dreams of a promotion, but instead is assigned to manage Tulip, the only human working in the delivery system, who had to stay with them following an incident that erased her delivery address. One day Junior accidentally activates the machine that makes babies and ends up with an illegal little girl, whom he has to urgently deliver to avoid getting into trouble. Luckily, he has Tulip to help him...
The movie starts off well enough with the fun idea that storks, not drones, are delivering our Amazon purchases. But Storks wastes this interesting premise on yet another comedy adventure starring a mismatched duo and a cute baby, about friendship and finding yourself – this time with stork jokes. Nicholas Stoller and Doug Sweetland have made an ordinary animated film, devoid of imagination and personality, which lazily reproduces the same old worn-out formula. It is funny at times and very well executed, but it also gets boring after a while.
