Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
A year after rescuing New York from Shredder and letting Vern Fenwick become a star, the Ninja Turtles still live secretly in the metropolis. When April O'Neil discovers that Shredder’s team plans to use a prison transfer to break him out, Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael try to stop it. But Shredder has recruited two criminals mutant warriors, Bebop and Rocksteady, in preparation for his revenge with the help of Krang...
A flood of special effects, tons of chases, Megan Fox in lingerie, gags for the kiddies: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows uses a base formula to concoct yet another wannbe blockbuster. Dave Green, director of Echo and the latest recruit to Michael Bay’s factory, packs the show with enough light entertainment to fulfill its modest mission. Which leaves you wondering what in the world the excellent Laura Linney is doing in this movie – a colossal waste of talent.
